Parents and Students: We have two upcoming opportunities for you to support Awtrey and our community!! First, Thursday-8/27/09 is Dominos's Pizza night. Thursday, August 27th
We were going to do stations today including an internet practice site for the European Countries, however, due to technical difficulties, we were unable to do the internet practice portion.
I showed the kids how to access the site and am offering a treat to any student who goes to the site and practices until they acheive a score of 90 or higher. They can print off their results or have a parent email me or write me a note letting me know they saw a score of 90% or higher.
In class we labeled and shaded the ten countries the kids will be responsible for on their quiz next Tuesday. This quiz will also include some physical features that we will add to their maps tomorrow. Tomorrow I will also add a list of ALL things they will have to know on their map quiz :)
Sheppards software practice
Friday, August 28th
We reviewed the political map and then began labeling the physical map. We have decided to move the quiz to Wednesday. Please practice on Sheppards software and you can still earn a treat of a score of 90% or higher!!!
