August 17th- 21st

Monday, August 17th

We got our books checked out today :)  Remember kiddos, that your books stay at home!!!  We will be using a class set in our room through out the year :)  We read pages 35-40 over the 5 Themes of Geography and began the Section Assessment 1-4. 

HW - Section Assessment 1-4 must be finished by tomorrow :)

Tuesday, August 18th

 We rediscussed homework procedures and I collected their assignments.  We worked in partners/groups to complete Ch. 1 section 2 read and section assessment 1-4.  This will be finished up tomorrow if not completed today.

Thursday, August 20th

We filled in our 5 Themes notes sheet with a power point and began our Courageous Journey To..... paragraphs.

HW - The edited rough draft and final copy of your Courageous Journey To..... paragraphs are due Monday :)

Friday, August 21st

We did our Journal 3 2 1.  We then viewed a power point on Latitude and Longitude, took notes, and practiced :)
