December 12th-19th

I want to apologize about my blog for this week!!!  I hope my kiddos did a good job of writing their homework down in their agendas through my times of technical difficulties :)

Monday, December 15th

We wrote key term block sentences for our economics vocab to help us prepare for our project this week.

HW - current event due Wed.

Tuesday, December 16th

We started our "What Economics Means to me"  project.

HW - Current event due tomorrow, project due at the beginning of class on Friday

Wednesday, December 17th

We continued working on our projects.

Thursday, December 18th

We worked on our projects.

HW - projects due tomorrow

Friday, December 19th

We turned in our projects.  Students who turned in incomplete projects, no project at all, or anyone who wanted to see how they could do took an Economics test.  Students who took the test and had a project turned in will receive the highest of the two grades :)  The rest of the students summarized a topic we have learned this year and put it to the tune of a holiday song, then they performed them :)

December 8th-12th

We reviewed our economics w/s from Thursday.  We started a power point and took notes over the first 1/2 over the different economic systems.

Tuesday, December 9th

We did an Economic activity using beads to help better understand the three economic systems.

Wednesday, December 10th

We completed our Economic activity and finished the power pont, (except in 4th, we will do that first thing tomorrow)

HW - current event due a week from today, turn it in early for a super star :)

Thursday, December 11th

We watched 2 video streams about the factors of production and resources. 

HW - Economics quiz on Monday, current event due on Wed, turn in early for a super star :)

December 1st-5th

WELCOME BACK :)  I hope everyone had a restful break.  Today in class we completed and reviewed our European Union study guide.

HW - Quiz tomorrow over the European Union and there will be a notebook check.

Thursday, December 4th

We watched a video stream about how Economics relates to different cultures and the different economic systems.  The students took a quiz over the info.  We then began an economics w/s that will be due on Monday.

Friday, December 5th

Today we took an Economic break to complete a Geography Bee.  The top 2 from all my classes will participate in a school wide Geo Bee :)

HW - complete the Economic w/s we started on Thursday.

ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS - If your student is receiving a D or F in any class a progress report was sent home for you to sign today.  They still have 2 weeks left to bring up their grades :)
