Monday, November 17th
We discussed our projects. Tomorrow is the last day to turn in any missing pieces, if there are missing pieces after tomorrow, they will have to take a test over that portion of the information. As the students get their projects back, if they received a low grade, they may redo project incorporating necessary changes to add some points to their grades.
We then began European Union Week by completing Key Term Blocks over the vocab on pg 367.

Tuesday, November 18th
We reviewed how to write a great key term block sentence. We then read Ch. 13 sect. 3 in the book concerning the European Union and completed the section assessment. For #1 kids should write a good key term block sentence.
HW - there is no homework for tomorrow, but lots of upcoming things this week....
Thursday - Section Assessment will be due
Friday - Current event due, notebook check, and quiz over European Union

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!
Progress reports went home today!!! I am in the process of grading all the parts of the projects the kids created last week. If they drop your kiddo's score, I will send home an updated progress report on Thursday. Student who are not happy with their project grade on any on of the three parts may redo them over break for some addition points.
Wednesday, November 19th
We labeled a map of all of the countries in the European Union.
HW - Complete the Ch. 13 Section 3 assessment we began in class on Tuesday.
CHANGE IN PLANS!!!!
Tomorrow we will be taking a matching test over the governments we have been studying. The kids will get to keep the higher grade between their test and their projects they will be getting back tomorrow and Friday. Friday we will complete a study guide for their European Union quiz. We will review the answers and review for the quiz the Monday after break and the new quiz date will be the Tuesday after break :)

Thursday, November 20th
We took our government test. I let the student know the best grade out of their tests/projects would be entered as their government assessment grade. We discussed ways to help improve their project grades. They will be receiving their project grades back tomorrow. If they are not happy with their final grade, they may redo any part of the project for more points.
HW- current event due tomorrow, DSS's are filled now as well, you will be turning them in tomorrow as well
Friday, November 21st
We got our project/test grades back and worked on our European Union study guide. The kids can complete any missing assignments and/or correct projects for more credit if they would like to over break for credit.
HW - NONE, we will finish the European Union Study guide on Monday!!!!
