Wednesday - Students analyzed the mission of AVID and the several excerpts from Wall of Fame. It was a critical thinking activity which is part of Inquiry in WICR.

The eighth grade AVID students will travel to GA Tech University. We will leave the school at 9:00 AM and return at approximately 1:00 PM. If students desire to eat lunch at the food court, they should bring additional money. Thank you to Mr. Ezel and Ms. Ott for chaperoning.
Monday - We discussed the purposes of AVID as it relates to Wall of Fame, the book by Mary Catherine Swanson, the founder of AVID.

Wednesday - Philosophical Chairs: Television, movie and game violence affects crime rates and increases violence. The Philosophical Chairs Evaluation and Reflection is due Thursday.
