Tuesday is COMPETITION DAY!

Hopefully you studied your packet over the weekend!  The competition is scheduled for Tuesday, so come prepared!  Please note:  If you are one of the few who did not finish your packet in time and will not be competing, you will be expected to take a regular test over volcanoes on Tuesday!!

Awtrey's PTSA is sponsoring an Internet Safety Workshop this Thursday, 1/15, at 6:30 p.m. in the theater.  Jeff Inman, coordinator or Prevention Intervention, will be our guest speaker.

Friday:
1.  Debate Preparation: Should robots or humans be used to study volcanoes?

Monday:
1.  DEBATE!!!

Welcome Back!

Ready, Set, Go!!  We are having a competition on volcanoes!  Work hard to support your team and gain as many points as possible on competition day!

Tuesday:
1.  Reviw rules for competition
2.  Begin "Ready".  Complete the worksheet packet individually.

Wednesday:
1. Work on worksheet packet

Thursday:
1.   Finish worksheet packet

Friday:
1.  You will be split into your team groups.  You will need to discuss your answers, make any changes, and begin studying and quizzing each other.

Monday:
1.  Continue studying and quizzing in your teams

Tuesday:
1.  COMPETITION DAY!  You'll be split into your competition groups.  Good luck!!

Parents:  We have a new behavior management plan in the 6th grade.  Please read the attached letter and sign and return to you child's homeroom teacher.  Thanks!
