Back to a normal schedule!

Congratulations on finishing up the CRCT!  Now we just have to concentrate on the last five weeks of school!

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a restful spring break!  We have seven weeks left of hard work!

We are now starting a unit on the solar system.  Here's the schedule:

Monday:
1.  Manned spaceflight discussion
2.  Manned spaceflight historical video

Tuesday:
1.  Notes: Observing the solar system
2.  Finish Frayer Diagram
3.  Begin Workbook pgs. 237-241

Wednesday:
1.  Notes: The Sun
2.  Work on Workbook 237-241
Homework: Sunspots Graph and analyze questions

Thursday:
1.  Space Probe IN CLASS mini project:  Students will design a space probe to gather information on a solar system location of their choice.  Most of this project will be done in class, but students may need to finish certain portions at home if they get behind.
2.  Students will complete a "Mission Objective" Activity for their solar system location.
3.  Notes: Inner Planets

Friday:
1.  Notes: Outer Planets
2.  Students will research their solar system locations using reference books from the library.
