Friday, Oct. 12th

On Friday we took our spelling test and students handed in their weekly DOL(#8).

We also took a POP QUIZ on the short story, "Rikki-tikki-tavi".  Students were allowed to use their notes, the story, and their completed plot diagram that was handed back.  The quiz included 20 multiple choice questions and for one question, students had to reproduce their plot diagram (this was no problem for the students that had completed it for homework last week).

SHORT STORIES due on Monday, Oct. 15th!
We have been working ALL WEEK on short stories.  Students received their writing assignment on Friday, Oct. 5th and worked on it EVERYDAY from Oct. 8-12. 
Please look over the requirements.  The short stories should be typed-double-spaced OR hand-written in INK (except for the mini book group).
