What is a DOL?

A DOL (Daily Oral Language) is the warm-up in Language Arts.

EVERYDAY, students have a sentence (it is the SAME sentence ALL WEEK).
Each day, they have a different TASK for the same sentence.
The tasks are parts of speech, sentence structure, and questions about clauses and phrases.
The DOL is done Monday - Thursday.
On Friday, students are quizzed on questions from Tues - Thurs.
The DOL Quiz is EXACTLY the same as the WEEKLY DOL.
