Narratives are due Thursday, October 5th!

We have been working on these narratives IN CLASS for several weeks.  Students explored MANY types of narratives and short stories and used Chapter 4 in the Grammar Textbook.  Ms. Bailey MODELED EACH revision strategy and students used class time to draft, revise, and work in pairs on their narratives.

The FINAL steps SHOULD be done AT HOME.  Students will be editing and peer editing their narratives on Friday, Sept. 29th IN CLASS.  After Friday, the narratives will be sent home so that students can COMPLETE them/TYPE them.  ALL DRAFTS, post-its, and STRIPS are DUE for a grade WITH THE FINAL NARRATIVE.  They should be STAPLED SEPARATELY!Download Narrative.doc

Rewrite your narrative and staple the new one (pencil) to the FRONT of the first draft.

PLEASE NOTE:  Yesterday, students had to complete word maps for vocabulary words (1-8) for homework.  Although this homework was NOT collected, students need to have their WORD MAPS tomorrow so they can ADD vocabulary words (9-12).
